Eastern Washington Elite Cheer Teams were developed at the Elite Cheer & Dance Center as a natural progression from the recreational teams (TriCity Stars) that started in 1997. Our recreational Tri Cities Stars program is the oldest and most award winning youth cheer/dance group in the Eastern Washington area. This year, we will be auditioning for one or more teams at the following levels: |

We have enjoyed very nice success competing against more established programs, shown best by our winning the 2006 & 2007 State Championships in the Senior, Junior , Junior Prep and Mini categories AND more recently the 2006 USA NATIONAL ALL STAR CHAMPIONSHIPS (Juniors). There is a cheer team for every age and every skill level! Placement on teams will be done by audition process at the Elite Center in April. Practices will be held at the Elite Cheer & Dance Center on our NEW competition SPRING FLOOR! Parent’s meetings are held monthly and individual account statements are provided to keep you fully informed of all team and personal expenditures. Accounts are handled by our Business Manager, Mike Passmore. Our philosophy is to set high standards
for our students and to do our best to help them achieve
our team goals and their personal goals. Graduating
senior team members will be helped to earn college
scholarships and in finding summer work as cheer camp
instructors. The
Elite Program already has established a very successful
record of placing graduates on college/pro teams and

We help our Seniors
prepare their resume and college audition videos if needed. We
network with college coaches to find available scholarships and
to market our cheerleaders! We
want all of our graduating Seniors to move on to the next level
with a program of that fits their individual goals. |

OPTIONAL AND TEAM FUND RAISERSThe Elite team is a non-profit organization with yearly operating expenses including mailings, office supplies, team awards, coaches traveling expenses, first aid and makeup supplies, team bonding parties, and sponsor gifts. The team will have 2 car washes and will participate in the annual Elite Dance Show to help earn money to cover team costs. Car Washes are scheduled for May and June. All team members are expected to participate in team fund raisers that support team expenses. Individual optional fund-raisers will be provided and cheerleaders can participate in as many or as few of these events to help defer the costs of uniforms and competition fees.
